Summer School "Czech It Out" was successful again!

This summer we hosted 42 students coming from Taiwan, Hong Kong, South Korea, Thailand, Poland, England and from France.

"I always look forward to meeting new international students. This year we hosted students from Taiwan, Hong Kong, South Korea, Thailand, Poland, Britain and France. Over the four weeks, they engaged in a diverse range of trips and courses, from cultural studies, logistics, marketing and data science. There was also Czech, which they studied diligently with Associate Professor Cerna. And if a Taiwanese person with beautiful Czech says to you, "You are the love of my life," wouldn't you also like to participate?"  said Professor Blanka Klímová who took care of the students as well.

The participants had opportunity to study Czech, English or French language in addition to these courses they attended for example Applied Game Theory, Fundamentals of Marketing or Exploring AI in Education.

The Summer School was not only about learning. One of the goals of this event is to introduce students the Czech Republic, Hradec Králové and of course the University of Hradec Králové. They visited places of interest (town Kutná Hora – UNESCO Czech Heritage), countryside or local companies.  

"I really enjoyed the summer school as much as possible this year. Besides the new faces, I had the opportunity to teach in peace, without the stress of administration, meetings or exams," as Blanka Klímová said.

We hope that all students enjoyed this event and they may come to FIM as exchange students and stay with us one semester or academic year. We are looking forward to!
