The 2nd year of the Blended Intensive Program

The online and face-to-face part took place in April and 17 students from 3 countries (Romania, Italy, Poland) participated in this event this year. 

Besides the lectures and presentations, we prepared an interesting program for them to discover our region and the Czech Republic. They visited Prague, Kutná Hora, Poděbrady, and the glass factory “Crystal BOHEMIA“ where they had the opportunity to buy their quality products. They also explored the city of Hradec Králové from the White Tower which they climbed on Wednesday. The rest of the afternoon they spent in the DRAK theatre where they had an educational guided tour, including the visit of backstage. 

As the lead teacher of the whole course comments:

Teaching this course provides me with a distinctive opportunity to work with students from diverse cultural backgrounds. It allows me not only to understand their unique learning styles but also to share insights about my own culture. At the same time, I am always fascinated how various cultures perceive mine differently. This experience enriches both my teaching approach and personal growth.

We got positive feedback from the participants and are looking forward to next year.
