Visit from Suan Sunada Rajabat University, Thailand at FIM
A few weeks ago, we informed you about Ms. Sommaya’s visit (the Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, Thailand). These pleasant days are over and we would like to share this feedback with you.
Ms. Sommaya:
My Erasmus+ (Credit Mobility Program) exchange experience at the Faculty of Informatics and Management was truly rewarding both professionally and personally. The work environment at UHK is enriching and I was impressed with the warm welcome, as well as, the modern facilities, and the faculty’s international environment. During my stay, I had an opportunity to teach two courses - Psychology of the Internet and Digital Marketing, as well as, Sales and Advertising, the students were very engaged, making the classes very rewarding for me. I also had various opportunities to have fruitful discussions with the faculty members, and I look forward to future research and programme collaborations between the University of Hradec Kralove and Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University.
And how dr. Levínská evaluates this visit?
In May, Sommaya Prachyangprecha, a lecturer from Suan Sunada Rajabat University in Thailand, visited the Faculty of Informatics and Management. The students had the opportunity to hear her lectures on Culture and International Marketing Communication in the courses Internet Psychology and Digital Marketing and Sales and Advertising. It may be unusual for our cultural environment that advertising of alcoholic beverages is not allowed in her country. Sommaya discussed with the Dean of Faculty and other academics the possibility of a summer school for Thai students, a Double Degree and pairing research activities. She found the University of Hradec Kralove and the regional city to be a very safe place to study and for student life. Her parents' comment, to whom she sent photos of the morning city, says it all: "And where are all the people!" Try putting photos of Bangkok and Hradec Králové next to each other.
It´s nice to hear such words and we really appreciate it. This visit is a proof of how important is cooperation like this. Meetings, speaking with students, exchanging views, sharing and discussing with colleagues is the main goal of this Erasmus+ Credit Mobility Program and we have to say that this visit fulfilled it.
We hope to welcome more visitors from abroad to FIM in the future!
