Research project boREALIFE: Overheating in the High Arctic

From February 2019 till February 2021 Zdenka Sokolíčková from Department of Cultural and Religious Studies will be studying the impacts of globalization on life in the town of Longyearbyen (Svalbard Archipelago). The researcher’s host instituttion is Department of Social Anthropology, University of Oslo. The project is mentored by professor Thomas Hylland Eriksen and co financed by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic.
