Despite increasing international competition, with the number of evaluated institutions significantly rising from 2,963 to 5,663 and the number of ranked institutions increasing to 1,503, UHK has maintained a stable position, being ranked in the 1001-1200 range.
This year, we are proud to highlight that we are the top university in the Czech Republic in the "International Faculty" indicator, which measures the proportion of international faculty members within the total academic staff. This is a significant achievement and a testament to our international focus.
We would like to thank all friends, students, and staff of UHK for their continuous efforts and contributions to the international recognition of our university. It is a great success, but we shouldn't rest on our laurels, there is a great potential still to fulfill. For example, in the "Academic Reputation" indicator, we have outstanding scientists and teachers. We just need to get the word out that despite the fact that we are a small university, we have a strong academic position.
Getting into the QS World University Rankings was no easy task. It is all the more significant that we have been ranked for the fourth consecutive year. I would like to build on the success of my predecessor, and I believe we are on the right track. I am confident that if we continue in this direction, we can improve even further.
