HRS4R | HR Award
In January 2020, the UHK entered the HR Award project (HRS4R – Human Resources Strategy for Researchers) with the aim to obtain European certification of quality of human resources procedure – HR Award (HRS4R – Human Resources Strategy (Logo: HR Excellence in Research). The preparation and implementation of activities leading the evaluation by the European Commission were completed in November 2021 by receiving the prestigious "HR Excellence in Research Award".
HR Excellence in Research is a prestigious award, a guarantee of the European standard of care for employees, quality of work environment, transparency and openness of recruitment procedures.
By a letter sent to the European Commission in April 2020, the UHK undertakes to implement human resources strategies in order to improve work conditions of researchers in accordance with the European Charter for Researchers and a Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers (hereinafter the Charter and the Code).
By obtaining the HR Award, the UHK:
- Will be in accord with the European Charter and Code;
- Will increase its prestige and have greater chance to get grants and mobilities;
- Will ensure EU standards of care for employees;
- Will improve the work environment and make it more attractive.
