HED – workshop on cooperation between universities and industry

As part of the Hradec Králové Economic Days, there will also be a workshop entitled "University and Industry Collaboration - Partnerships Driving Innovation", which is a Multiplier Event of project No. 2020-1-CZ01-KA203-078313 "Technology transfer together", in which UHK cooperates with the Technical the University of Košice and the Universidad de Granada.

The presentation aims to share the experience of more than a decade of work in the UK's innovation ecosystem and to open a debate on exciting technology and knowledge transfer programs that help foster innovation between industry and academia.
Presented by: Ing. Henrieta Dunne, technology transfer expert at the TECHNICOM University Science Park in Košice
Henrieta has recently returned from the UK where she worked for the past 17 years predominantly in early-stage business support and in national and international innovation programmes. She worked for Oxford Innovation Ltd. for 5 years coordinating the activities of three business angel investment networks. In 2013 she joined a government-funded Research and Technology Organisation in the Harwell Science Campus near Oxford, focused on accelerating the commercialisation of research in the area of space technologies. In 2018, she launched and managed an EU funded Business Incubation Centre to support innovative start-ups working in rocket propulsion, satellite communications, 5G, and autonomous systems. She was actively helping to connect industry and academia in order to foster collaborations and to accelerate bringing commercial products and services into the market.
