ReUNIon 2023

The third year of the sešlost (gathering) is at the door! As in the previous two years, this year we will start the academic year at the UHK Festival by students for students.
We have preserved some things from the past years, but we also have news. The common morning breakfast at the A/OSV buildings remains the same. We also have evening concerts and an artistic program for you at Václav Havel Square. This year's sešlost (ReUNIon) will be a all day event. After the morning program, the inner part will continue, where the clubs have prepared their activities for you. Graduates will come to discuss "life after uni" or we have joined forces with non-profit organizations and prepared discussions, lectures and workshops on various topics.
Breakfast
We start at 8:00 a.m., so you can make it before the first lectures and exercises. Last year, there was something to eat at 11:00 a.m. This year, we would like to keep it. Where? You can find clubs and other organizations from our uni in building A/OSV and building B (FF UHK). In building A, everything will be prepared in the lower part of the building, in the atrium, next to the library. You won't be able to miss us on the “filda”. We will be right outside the door. How does it go? It can't get any easier. You will come, chat with the people from the clubs, have breakfast and you can fly to class. You can also visit us during breaks and breaks. What can you look forward to? The clubs will prepare a breakfast menu for you. Last year, the traditional bread and butter was supplemented with salt and sweet cakes or roasted duck. It won't be just typically Czech. You can look forward to non-traditional dishes.
Afternoon program
After breakfast we all return for a while to lectures and exercises, but from 2 p.m. we are off. There will be a rector's day off. You can grab a beer, coffee, whatever you want and go sit in the chill zone, visit the activities of clubs, exercise or visit workshops and debates. You will get a stamp for your visit and for six of them you will get a drink of your choice. The buffet will run from morning to evening.
The evening part of the sešlost is the most festival-like each year. It will be the same this year. The main stage is ready, where the better-known and beginning performers will take turns. Those in the mood for slam poetry, acoustic music or movie screenings can visit all this at the secondary “art” stage, which can be found in the park in front of building A.

What would we say about ourselves? We are a four-piece band from Hradec Králové. If you ask us about our work, the answer couldn't be simpler:
"alternative pop/rock played by introverts with a bad sense of humor. Melodic bass lines along with minimalist dance guitar stay on the borderline of lyrics about states of mind and the pursuit of realistic perception of life."

.themayrevolution
“.themayrevolution” is a four-piece rock band from the Czech Republic known for dirty sound, energetic live shows, and dark introspective lyrics. Their music combines genres of garage rock and alternative rock influenced by bands such as Cleopatrick, Boston Manor, or Highly Suspect.
The band formed in a small town near Prague in 2017 around the talents of Tomáš Kulhavý (vocals), Václav Vávra (guitar), and Rostislav Suchochleb (drums). The first EP, Reborn, was released in 2018. After playing several festivals and shows across the Czech Republic as support of John Wolfhooker, they took up the fourth member, Michal Drahný (bass).

Malone
We are a band named Malone, composed of five members: Miloš, Honza, Kuba, Matěj and Mára, who met in Hradec Králové almost three decades ago. Our roots go back to the 1990s, when we believed that we would be big stars on the music scene, inspired by bands like Nirvana, Blur and Red Hot Chili Peppers. We tried to become famous all over the Czech Republic and the world, but time showed us that we were wrong.
We happened to find ourselves in 2022, when we opened the gate to the future in an attempt by our keyboardist Kuba to upgrade our tour bus. Now we are trying to find our way back to the past, but here we are. We find that our band Malone after 30 years is not as famous as we imagined. We have to start all over again, adapt to the changes in the world and improve our sound.
Our goal remains the same: to make new hits and to dazzle the world. Music is still our mission, so we go to work and try to win back the hearts of listeners who may have forgotten us long ago.
