Succesfull project established firm roots for further cooperation
Project no. EHP-CZ-ICP-2-006 "The Technology and Knowledge Transfer based on Norway – Czech Cooperation" fulfilled its potential. But the cooperation with the project partner Oslo Metropolitan University will continue thanks to the Letter of Intent, which we signed in June during Peer-learning activity 3 in Oslo.
The topic of Peer-learning activity C3 was focused on Intellectual property and its protection and anti-corruption rules. Given that the Rector of the UHK participated in the activity, it was possible to widely discuss the technology transfer process at the university's top management level, which was absolutely unique and crucial for creating the intellectual outputs. The UHK Summer School 4 TTCamp and Peer-learning activity 4 were also held in June. The topic of Peer-learning activity C4 was focused on organizing the summer school and directly connected with the intellectual output 4 "Methodology_Summer school_Transfer technology_Training programmes". A Multiplier Event was also held at this time as part of the HED conference. It was organized as a "Technology transfer specifics in the humanities" workshop. The workshop participants were informed, among other things, about the project's progress and results.
The last months of the project duration were, therefore, very intensive and significantly contributed to the successful completion of all intellectual outputs.
"Collaborating with OsloMet on this project was a great opportunity for UHK and brought fruitful cooperation due to the shared best practices of both partners. I hope for more joint projects. One of the great benefits was the collaboration with Simula Research Laboratory OsloMet and Simula Garage, a technology and knowledge transfer incubator of OsloMet. Another planned project is participation in a Bootcamp focused on technology transfer organized by this incubator," says Vice-Rector for Science and Creative Activities of UHK, prof. Ondřej Krejcar.
The project's goal was to create 4 intellectual outputs, which we also achieved.
- Curriculum of the course Technology transfer for students, academics, researchers, and university staff;
- Syllabi for the course Transfer technology for students, academics, and researchers;
- Methodology for a successful spin-off setting in the academic area;
- Methodology Summer school Transfer technology Training programmes.
Thanks to grants, it was possible to initiate cooperation with the Norwegian partner, which would be very difficult and almost impossible without the program and financial support. Thanks to EEA Grants Programme, it was possible to increase and strengthen institutional cooperation at all levels of the university hierarchy between UHK and OsloMet.
"Thanks to this project, cooperation between UHK and OsloMet has deepened, and a connection has been set at the management level. The Oslo Metropolitan University will continue to actively participate in professional conferences organized at UHK, especially the Hradec Economic Days. Furthermore, the universities will actively cooperate in the field of science and research, especially the strong link formed between the team prof. Krejcar and prof. Anis Yazidi, in the field of artificial intelligence," ads the Rector of UHK, prof. Kamil Kuča.
