The University of Hradec Králové in the QS World University Rankings for the first time ever

The QS World University Rankings has been well known for a long time and let’s point out that our university is a very new member of this ranking. Right from the beginning, the UHK obtained an amazing place in the overall rank. The UHK rank is 801-1000 out of 1,300 evaluated institutions. The institution performed among the top 62% institutions in the world. 

“Not every university has the opportunity to be evaluated and we are so proud that the University of Hradec Králové has achieved a score. It is obvious that we are constantly improving. Thanks to my colleagues and not only that, also thanks to our students, we are even more noticeable,” says Rector Kamil Kuča.

The University of Hradec Králové was evaluated in areas such as Academic Reputation, Employer Reputation, Citations per Faculty, Faculty Student, International Faculty, and International Students.  The Faculty Student achieved the biggest success and our International Faculty was very high in this rank as well. At the moment the UHK supports employment of international staff and is alma mater to many students from abroad.

With the current situation, it is more than obvious that regional universities are at the beginning of their glory. The UHK is not staying behind and continuously keeps improving. We shall see what the future holds for us.
