UHK has placed again in a prestigious international ranking
Yet another success of the University of Hradec Králové in the QS World University Rankings!
Since 2015, UHK has confirmed its stability in a regional ranking of the QS World University Rankings, but last year we received the award of this institution in the main ranking, and we confirmed this place again this year. In addition, there was a significant shift in the shared 801-1000 position among the 2,462 institutions analyzed. The Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague, Mendel University in Brno and the Technical University in Liberec are in the same shared position, and we are 11th among the Czech universities evaluated.
"I am delighted that our efforts to improve the university's academic environment have an international response. I take this success as confirmation of our role in the context of evaluation criteria and as recognition of our well-deserved place among prominent Czech and foreign universities. Last year we were among the 62% of top-rated universities in the world; we rose to 57% this year. I hope that we will maintain this upward trend in the long run, and I would like to sincerely thank all those who work tirelessly for the university's growth," comments the rector of UHK, prof. Kamil Kuča.
The evaluation criteria include:
- the academic reputation,
- the reputation of the university as an employer,
- the number of students per academic,
- citations of scientific and creative outputs,
- and the number of international students.
In addition, the evaluation institution added two other criteria, namely involvement in international research and graduate employment.
