Archives
UHK Archives are accredited public specialized archives. It is a rectorate department with university-wide competencies.
The UHK archive is now located in building E, Víta Nejedlého Street 573/4, Hradec Králové
Provided Services:
- Permanent storage of archival documents arising from the activities of the University of Hradec Králové, its legal predecessors and other persons or institutions associated with the University of Hradec Králové,
- Making these archives available in accordance with applicable legislation,
- Supervising the file service, pre-archival care, shredding procedure and all handling of written and electronic documents in the environment of the University of Hradec Králové, supervising the Registrar and Registry of the University of Hradec Králové,
- Supervising the care of school and some other author's works created at the University of Hradec Králové and making these works accessible - in particular it is about university theses (i.e. Bachelor’s, Master’s and doctoral theses), rigorous theses and habilitation theses,
- Documentation of the activities of the University of Hradec Králové and support of the presentation of the University of Hradec Králové in public,
- Issuing study certificates to former students,
- Research activities in the field of history of the University of Hradec Králové and in the field of the archival science, exhibition and publishing activities in these areas
