Project Description

The aim of the project was to develop bioinformatics in Hradec Králové in order to support the research focus of the University of Hradec Králové, the University of Defense, and Charles University.

The support took place in 3 areas:

  1. Support for Ph.D. studies in the preparation of their dissertation.
  2. Support for academics in their own research and teaching.
  3. Development of skills of students in master's programs in the field of bioinformatics.

Project outputs:

During the project, several workshops and courses were organized in online and offline environments.

A programming manual for biologists in the Czech language was created. This is a comprehensive overview of the basics of bioinformatics designed for students of all levels of study.
