Child at Risk: Risky behaviour and mental health of children in the V4 countries

Project ID 22430137

Project Aim

The project "Child at Risk: Risky Behaviour and Mental Health of Children in the V4 Countries" aims to address the growing challenges related to children's mental health and risky behavior. This includes issues such as aggression, substance abuse, and online risks. By focusing on prevention and early intervention, the project strengthens the competences of future educators and professionals. It also fosters collaboration between universities, academics, and practitioners from the V4 countries (Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, and Hungary), emphasizing innovative approaches and shared expertise.

Planned Activities

  1. Development of a Methodological Guide: University students, guided by academics, will create tools and resources for educators and non-educational workers. These will focus on mental resilience, tolerance, relaxation, and digital safety.
  2. Workshops and Networking: A two-day workshop in Hradec Králové will gather students, academics, and professionals to share best practices and strategies for managing risky behaviors in children.
  3. Dissemination and Cooperation: The project's results will be made freely accessible online and shared through publications, social media, and partnerships, promoting long-term impact and regional collaboration.

This initiative aims to enhance educational practices, improve mental health support, and foster regional identity across the V4 countries.
