International Conference BalticSTE 2015
Members of the research team of the Faculty of Science "Subject Didactics of Natural sciences, Mathematics and Informatics" attended an international conference on science and technology education BalticSTE 2015 held on 15 to 18 June 2015 in Siauliai, Lithuania.
With one of the plenary lectures on the theme "Synergy and / or Mismatch in Real and Virtual Environments in Science Education" spoke at the conference prof. PhDr. Martin Bilek, Ph.D. from Section of Chemical Education at Department of Chemistry. In the program also presented their lectures Lukas Vizek, M.A. from the Department of Mathematics with the theme "On Volume of the Antiprism in Cube as a Complex Mathematical Problem" and a doctoral student at the Department of Chemistry Katerina Chroustova with the theme "The Development of Factors Affecting the Usage of Educational Software in Chemistry Education in the Czech Republic." Successful representation of appointed officials at the conference supported specific research and international cooperation projects of the Faculty of Science.
