Research
The scientific and research activities of the Faculty of Science are focused on several scientific fields, namely applied mathematics, biology, chemistry and subject didactics of the science subjects. The faculty participates in treating scientific projects supported by domestic as well as by international grant agencies.
Domestic supporters of our scientific projects include:
- Czech Science Foundation (GACR),
- Technology Agency of the Czech Republic (TA CR),
- Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic (AZV CR),
- Ministry of Agriculture of the Czech Republic (eAGRI),
- Ministry of Industry of the Czech Republic (MIT CR),
- Ministry of Education of the Czech Republic (MŠMT) within the Operational Programme Research, Science and Education (OP VVV).
Our faculty is also involved in international projects supported for example by the International Visegrad Fund and cooperates with the corporate sector.
