Researchers from Department of Chemistry cooperate on research of theranostic
Researchers from Department of Chemistry (Faculty of Science) cooperate on research of theranostics (therapy & diagnostics) with Czech Technical University in Prague and Institute of Molecular Genetics of the Czech Academy of Sciences.
Researchers from Department of Chemistry (Faculty of Science) cooperate on research of theranostics (therapy & diagnostics) with Czech Technical University in Prague and Institute of Molecular Genetics of the Czech Academy of Sciences. Their mutual paper on cellular uptake of gold nanorods into cancer cells was just published in American Chemical Society journal Bioconjugate Chemistry (DOI: 10.1021/acs.bioconjchem.6b00491). The research of gold nanoparticles is focused on anticancer photothermal therapy and the functional surfactants of gold nanorods are prepared in the Department of Chemistry (Faculty of Science).
