Researchers from Faculty of Science patented novel molecules for Alzheimer disease
Researchers from Department of Chemistry (Faculty of Science) were awarded by Czech patent on molecules affecting mitochondria and further published the results in Bioorganic & Medicinal Chemistry Letters.
They have long-term cooperation with University St Andrews (UK). The mutual results might help with Alzheimer disease combat which they try to influence by their molecules in early and symptomless stage. Since it is only first step on a long way, such perspective result from Faculty of Science are in the interest of foreign companies at the moment.
