The Best Poster Award goes to the Department of Biology
RNDr. Jakub Toman successfully represented the Faculty of Science at the 39th Mycotoxin Workshop held in Bydgoszcz, Poland, on 19-21 June 2017.
The conference was attended by over 200 experts from 21 countries around the world and had an extensive program, which was a combination of lecture blocks and poster presentations (81 posters in total).
RNDr. Toman presented a poster (in the proceedings entitled P77 in Human and Animal Health) as the main author on the subject Determination of ochratoxin A, citrinin and aflatoxin M1 in urine from patients with renal cell carcinoma and urinary tract cancer.
This poster was ranked as one of the two best in the entire conference and was awarded a voucher to buy literature from Springer publishing house.
