The QS World University Rankings is considered one of the three most prestigious and trusted international comparisons that measure the quality of universities. In 2021, for the first time, UHK entered the main ranking. And for the year 2024 UHK was placed on the shared 1001–1200th position. In the Czech environment, UHK is currently at 11th place.

The evaluation is conducted across a total of 55 disciplines grouped into five areas: Natural Sciences, Engineering, Life Sciences, Medical Sciences, and Social Sciences. The University of Hradec Králové appeared in the rankings for the first time in 2022, and in 2024, we once again secured a shared position in the 401st–500th bracket in the field of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences.
