General Partner

Česká spořitelna has been the general partner of the University of Hradec Králové since January 1, 2008. The content of the partnership is cooperation in the area of financial management, material support of research activities of the university staff and cooperation of experts of Česká spořitelna and academic staff of the university in teaching and management university theses.

The University and its general partner together regularly appreciate the most scientifically efficient employees of the University of Hradec Králové who receive a financial reward from the funds provided by Česká spořitelna. At present, Česká spořitelna is preparing mobility for traineeships and specialist seminars for students of the University of Hradec Králové that are gradually taking place. Students will also have the possibility to actively help one of the charitable projects supported by Česká spořitelna for one day.

A unique experimental branch of Česká spořitelna, which was established in September 2011, is located in the University of Hradec Králové. The branch gets out by its appearance and orientation not only from other branches of Česká spořitelna but it also significantly differs from all standard banking branches at the Czech market. Students of the University of Hradec Králové directly participated in its visual appearance. The bank addressed young architects to come up with design proposals for the branch, from which the university students selected the a1 architect’s architectural studio’s project that Česká spořitelna implemented.

Česká spořitelna is also planning to modify the respiratory space adjacent to the branch to make it a pleasant place for studying and relaxing. The space will match the modern look of the branch and, depending on the weather, students will be able to use the terrace with a relaxing seating area. In the respiratory area, students will also be able to learn interesting information about Česká spořitelna and ČS Foundation social responsibility projects.
