The project Technology Transfer Together, which is based on a partnership with the University of Granada and the Technical University of Kosice and is co-funded by the Erasmus + Programme of the European Union, is coming to an end.
This project started in August 2020 and will end in August 2023. This project aimed to work together to develop the issue of transferring technological and industrial innovations in the business environment, with a particular focus on patent law and copyright protection of research outputs. UHK has the excellent opportunity to learn from Spanish and Slovak partners who have been successfully developing technology transfer for a long time, and we greatly appreciate that. The curriculum and syllabus for the course Transfer Technology for students, academics, and researchers were created within this project. This course is currently being piloted. Furthermore, the Methodology for a successful spin-off setting in the academic area and the Methodology for top management of the university was created. And now, we are working on the Methodology of the summer school focused on technology transfer.
As a part of this project, the Multiplier Event and Hradec Spring Tech 4TTCAMP for Spanish, Slovak, and also Czech students took place last month. Hradec Spring Tech 4TTCAMP participants had the opportunity to meet real experts in the field of technology transfer and thus acquired unique knowledge and competencies. In addition, Hradec Spring Tech 4TTCAMP contributed to their practical skills training. The participants got acquainted with the advanced principles of technology transfer and founding spin-off companies.
They mastered the principles of proof of concept and commercialization in science and research. Hradec Spring Tech 4TTCAMP participants were awarded the Certificate of Attendance to confirm the obtained technology and knowledge transfer skills.
Students had a great opportunity to meet real experts and interesting lecturers from Spain, Slovakia, Norway, and of course, The Czech Republic.

Thank you for an excellent workshop! The organization was fantastic, and the venues were all so beautiful. It was great to get a hold of the TT, HE projects, and IP, and it was great to meet you all. – a participant of the Hradec Spring Tech 4TTCAMP.
Except for the formal program, many informal activities were arranged for participants. They had the opportunity to see the city of Hradec Králové with a tour guide, and then they visited the Museum of the Petrof piano factory, attended the Social Event at the UHK, and also explored the nightlife of the city.
It was a fantastic way for the students to improve their knowledge of the abovementioned topics in an engaging atmosphere. Hradec Spring Tech 4TTCAMP offered students the perfect combination of exciting, memorable, safe, and educational experiences.
