Author: Kristýna Vávrová
Prof. RNDr. Štěpán Hubálovský, Ph.D., has long been involved in applications of scientific modeling and computer simulations of real, especially physical systems in the educational process: “Mathematical models and computer simulations are of a great importance in education and in recent years their use in teaching has been emphasised. The creation of simulation models and visualizations enables students to understand the basic processes in real systems, to develop intuition and even to display a realistically impossible experiments, “describes the newly appointed professor.
Štěpán Hubálovský also focuses on the subject matter, theoretical study and effectiveness of the implementation of e-learning in education and applied research using computer simulations.
He has published a total of 35 articles in important world journals indexed in the WoS or Scopus databases, such as Computers in Human Behavior, International Journal of Education and Information Technologies, Mathematics, Symmetry-Basel and International Journal of Mathematics and Computers in Simulation. He is also the independent author of two undergraduate scripts.
Prof. RNDr. Štěpán Hubálovský, Ph.D., is the researcher of two applied research projects of TA CR, co-researcher of other three projects of TA CR and two departmental applied research projects. The results of these projects include patents, utility models, technologies and prototypes.
