Summer School at Faculty of Science

- For students of bachelor and master programmes
- Entrance fee 250 EUR
- accommodation,

- guided city tour (4 entrance fees) and guides for trips,
- opening and closing ceremony,

- luncheson lecture days,
- complimentary public transport pass in Hradec Králové (During the Opening Ceremony, you will receive a public transport card, so there is no need to purchase one in advance‼️),

Programme
You can choose from 3 different Summer Schools:
- Homological methods in Mathematical Physics
- Introduction to Yang-Mills theory, instantons and twistor spaces
- Geometric Approaches in Mechanics, Design of Numerical Methods
- Holonomy groups in Differential Geometry
- Laplacian and its spectral properties: a quick introduction
- Introduction to quantum graphs and their spectral and resonance properties
- Blackholes and thermodynamics
- Acquire both theoretical and hands-on knowledge in Dendrology, Cell Cycle, Lichenology, Ecology, Microbiology, Human Biomonitoring, and Palynology
- Explore the fascinating world of ants and bees in their natural habitat, and understand the strategies to enhance biodiversity in human-altered environments
- Discover the impact of food-borne mycotoxins on human health
- Transform into a budding researcher, capable of collecting biological samples in the field, conducting laboratory analysis, and evaluating data using simple yet effective statistical techniques
- Unleash your inner photographer by capturing pollen from your favorite flower using state-of-the-art microscopy techniques
- Acquire both theoretical and practical knowledge in the basics of Toxicology, including the Toxicology of Inorganic and Organic Compounds, Natural Compounds, and Sampling and Separation Methods
- Get hands-on experience by isolating, analyzing, and testing your first toxin
- Master the art of curing poisonings

- Provided for free at the student dormitories.
- Rooms for 2–3 people with shared bathroom and equiped shared kitchen.
