Is it possible to issue an ID card before enrolling in the first year?

• No, if you are not enrolled in a course for the given academic year, an ID card cannot be issued to you.  

How do I extend the validity of my ID card and where can I buy a revalidation stamp?

• The validity of the ID card (UHK student card, ISIC and ITIC) is extended by purchasing a revalidation stamp at the UHK Service Center, Building A, Hradecká 1227 or online via the form at  Intranet UHK, where you authenticate with your UHK login.
• The price of the revalidation stamp is 350 CZK for the extension of the validity of the ISIC and ITIC cards and 150 CZK for the UHK student card. See the ID card price list
• In the UHK Service Center, payment for revalidation is possible in cash or by credit card. 

Do you extend the validity of ISIC cards created in places other than UHK?

• Ne, to nelze, protože k tomu nemáme oprávnění.

Mohu používat na UHK ISIC kartu, kterou mi vydala jiná škola?

• No, we can't because we don't have permission to do so.

What is the validity of revalidation stamps, or the validity of individual cards?

• UHK student card: from the beginning of September of one year to the end of September (or October) of the following year
• ISIC and ITIC: from the beginning of September of one year to the end of December of the next year.

What happens if I don't renew my ID card on time?

• If you do not extend the validity of your ID card in time, the card will stop working the next day after the expiration date.
• The functionality of the ID card will be restored again the next day after the purchase of the revalidation stamp.

Can I apply for an ID card if I am a PhD student?

• Yes, students of full-time and combined forms of doctoral studies can apply for an ID card, which they are entitled to according to the type of study.

Can I get a card with an ISIC license if I am over 26 years old??

• Yes, every full-time student can get an ISIC license card. The ISIC license is not age-restricted. However, some discount providers take this age limit into account and no longer provide discounts.

In the case of printing from a school computer, the file has to be sent to a printer named "SafeQ_Ricoh_PCL6_UNI at forkys3.uhk.cz". Full manual you will find here.

How much does it cost to print and copy at the printers in the UHK buildings?

• print and copy 1 page of A4 format black and white – 1,50 CZK,
• print and copy 1 page of A4 format colourful – 6 CZK,
• 1 page of A3 format black and white – 3 CZK,
• 1 page of A3 format colourful  – 12 CZK,
• scan to email – free.

How to charge up credit for printing and copying?

• In the OSV building - building A - on the 1st floor next to the printer there is a paper banknote recharge machine near the copier on the wall - the minimum amount is CZK 100.
• Come to one of the UHK service centres where, after payment, they will charge the required amount to your ID card - the minimum amount is CZK 20.
• You can only use the credit for printing and copying for the entire duration of your studies.
• The remaining credit is non-refundable, so recharge only the amount you use on the copiers.

Where can I find a printer at UHK?

Location of printing devices:

Building A (OSV Building) :

• UHK library,
• 2nd floor near by stairs,
• near entrance to the building,
• 4th floor by the stairs.

Building E:

• 1st floor next to classroom E8,
• 1st floor at the end of the  corridor.

Building J – Faculty of Informatics and Management:

• 2nd floor opposite service center.

Budova K – Palachovy koleje:

Budova P – Faculty of Education:

• on reception.

Budova S – Přírodovědecká fakulta:

• 1st floor – on the left, next by classroom S7,
• 3rd – on the left, next by classroom S26,
• 4th floor – on the left, next by classroom S48.

Can I request a study confirmation at the UHK Service Center?

• No, the UHK Service Center cannot issue any study certificates. These confirmations are issued by the study department of your faculty.
