The Department of Science and Research is authorized to keep the agenda and to manage the activities listed below. It is an independent body directly responsible to the management of the Philosophical Faculty.
The Department of Science and Research handles the agenda of:
- External projects (GACR, TA CR, NAKI, etc.)
- Internal projects (SV, IGS)
- Excellent Projects (IRT)
- Habilitation Procedures
- Procedures for appointment to professorship
- Long-term mobilities (post-doc) of visiting professors
- Editorial Board (publishing agenda)
- Research on the basis of a contract
- Personal publication database
- E-shop with publications
