Editorial Board

The Philosophical faculty declares its support for individual editorial boards of periodicals that are published or co-published at the Philosophical Faculty, University of Hradec Králové. The aim of the Philosophical faculty is that the published periodicals strive for inclusion in the international databases SCOPUS or Web of Science (WoS), or to aspire to a quality position in the given databases.

 

The subsidy of the Editorial Board of the Faculty of Arts of the University of Hradec Králové is awarded on the basis of the annual call of the Dean's Office of the Philosophical faculty:

• financial support for typesetting, graphic and web editing and printing of a given magazine published in paper or electronic form;
• financial support for review activities, proofreading and proofreading;
• financial support for executive editors (mainly doctoral students paid from the scholarship fund).

 

The amount of the subsidy for individual periodicals is decided by the Editorial Board, which assesses applications individually on the basis of the submitted budget plan. The call for applications is initiated annually by the Department of Science and Research, Philosophical Faculty, University of Hradec Králové.

The subsidy from the funds of RVO FF UHK is granted in the following cases:

• For a peer-reviewed non-impact journal co-published / published by FF UHK, the financial reward for the editorial office is CZK 10,000 for one issue of the journal submitted to the press or published electronically. The distribution of the subsidy will be the responsibility of the editor-in-chief, unless otherwise agreed.
• For the periodical co-published / published by Philosophical Faculty University of Hradec Králové included in the international ERIH Plus database, the remuneration is CZK 15,000 for one issue of the journal submitted to the press or published electronically.
• For a periodical co-published / published by Philosophical Faculty, University of Hradec Králové included in the Scopus or WoS databases, the editors of the relevant journal will be allocated financial support in the amount of CZK 10,000 per month. In cases of special consideration, the dean of Philosophical Faculty may decide on a different financial amount. The term refers to the period in which the journal is indexed in the database.

 

Rewards paid for individual issues of journals are administered by the Department of Science and Research, Philosophical Faculty, University of Hradec Králové. In the case of special consideration circumstances, the Dean may decide on an ad hoc increase or decrease in the support paid to the editorial boards.
