Optional individual practical training 1, 2

The aim of the course Optional individual practical training 1, event. 2 is to strengthen the practical skills and competences of the students.

In the course, the student will do individual practical training in a relevant institution by his/her choice. Depending on the study field it can be public or state administration authorities, NGOs, companies etc. The list of institutions where the FF UHK students of specific study fields can realize their practical internships is available at the FF UHK webpage in the section called Practical training and internships. The student can individually contact other institutions too.

Requirements to be fulfilled by the student

The course is intended only for students of the Philosophical faculty.

The students are obliged:

Before starting the practical training:

1) To fill in the application form to realize the practical training containing information about the intended practical training and confirmation about admission to the practical training by the receiving institution. This application is to be presented to the head of the department where the given study field is administered 3 weeks before the beginning of the realization of the intended practical training as latest.

2) To present the practical training contract, have it signed by the representative of the receiving institution, hand in the contract to the head of the department who will have it signed by the Dean.

After finishing the practical training:

1) To immediately hand in the confirmation about realization of the practical training (including evaluation by the receiving institution) to the head of the department that administers the given study field.

2) To hand in the final report, where the student evaluates the content, goals and benefit of the realized practical training, These materials must be presented without delay within a week after finalizing the practical training as latest.
