Study abroad
FF UHK has long been supporting student stays in European destinations within the Erasmus programme. Students of bachelor's and follow-up master's degree programmes can participate in them. In addition, stays in non-European regions (Africa, Latin America) are also intended for master
In addition to the traditional study stays, the support is also focused on practical internships - Czech Trade branches, embassies of the Czech Republic, Czech centres, research institutions and other international organizations or non-profit organizations.
Moreover, a wide range of scholarships is available to all those interested in a foreign trip.
How to apply?
Tenders for Erasmus stays and non-European learning mobilities are usually held twice a year - in spring and autumn. After delivering the required materials (application, cover letter, structured curriculum vitae, and course of study), an oral interview is held. The offer of partner institutions has constantly been expanding; tenders do not have to be announced for all destinations.
Up-to-date information on tenders, including deadlines and application forms, can be found on the website of the Foreign Department.
Selection criteria of students for study stays:
- Language competence - the ability to write and speak in a foreign language - in the appropriate language of the university where the candidate is interested in studying.
- Motivation to study abroad, motivation to study at the relevant university.
- Previous study results.
- Activities (both university and extra-curricular) related to the field of study or intended mobility.
